Buy Fresh Buy Local News and Events

Local Night Out is September 9, 10 and 11!

This annual event is so much fun we are expanding it to three nights this year! You have three chances to get out and try some of the best food in town. Options are bountiful- there's something local on the menu for everyone. Read below for a sampling of the delicious specials...

Local Night Out is our annual celebration of local foods and the chefs who turn them into delicious meals. Join us by going out to eat at one of our participating restaurants from September 9th-11th. Each is featuring special menu options or events.

By enjoying a great meal at a Local Night Out restaurant you get a terrific local meal, you show your support for businesses that buy local foods, and you contribute to building a more sustainable food system. Each restaurant is donating a portion of the proceeds from Local Night Out back to REAP's Buy Fresh Buy Local program- helping restaurants and farmers connect.

Local Night Out is also working with the Wisconsin Eat Local Challenge to encourage Wisconsinites across the state to spend 10% of their food budget on locally grown foods. Take the Challenge and sign up today at www.eatlocalwisconsin.com

Also, don't foget about REAP's Food For Thought Festival September 19-20th!
