Vegetables The Berry Farmer, Inc. We offer U-pick and pre-picked strawberries and peas. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm and Saturday-Sunday, 8am-5pm. Bleu Mont Dairy Our farm sits atop a ridge overlooking Blue Mound State Park in the picturesque driftless region of southern Wisconsin. Blue Moon Community Farm Blue Moon is known for its fresh, high quality vegetables and commitment to using sustainable practices and heirloom varieties. 2008 is an exciting year as the farm relocates to a new home in the Town of Dunn, just south of Madison. U-pick raspberries from mid-August to late September on Sunday mornings in season, and by calling ahead for weekdays and evenings. Pre-picked available, too. We’re on a quiet country road. Families are welcome. We are 16 miles south of the Beltline via Hwy 14, toward Evansville; turn right at Union (at tavern) onto West Union Rd., then left onto Crocker Rd. Blue Valley Gardens We are a certified organic fruit and vegetable farm. We also raise pasture chickens, ducks and turkeys. Farming has been a wonderful experience and we truly enjoy providing fresh produce and meats to our friends and customers. Bluestem Farm We grow local ecotype wildflowers, grasses, trees, shrubs and native orchids for your rain garden and landscaping projects. We do no wild digging; our nursery-grown potted plants suffer little or no transplant shock. We also sell apples, grapes and other produce grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. We sell at the Dane County Farmers’ Market throughout the growing season, on the farm most Sundays in May and June, and other days by appointment. Bures Berry Patch Bures Berry Patch is committed to providing area consumers with the highest quality produce in addition to a pleasurable farm experience. Christensen’s Farm Christensen’s Farm is a family venture offering a variety of vegetables and berries grown without chemicals. Our U-pick season begins in June with currants and raspberries and continues throughout the summer with tomatoes, peppers and more. Driftless Organics Driftless Organics is a certified organic vegetable and fruit farm, nestled in the hill and valley region of northern Crawford County. Our specialty is potatoes but in the past few years we’ve diversified and expanded to include a wide array of fruits and vegetables. All in all, we have roughly 40 acres under cultivation. Our product line can be seen at local food co-ops in Madison and the Twin Cities. We now offer a 19-week CSA with pick-up sites in Madison and Viroqua! In addition to grains and hay, we grow a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers. Favorites include asparagus, heirloom tomatoes, sweet corn, raspberries, kohlrabi and onions. Foster’s Fall Harvest Foster’s Fall Harvest has all of your fall decorator needs in one spot. We specialize in a large variety of pumpkins. Select from the lawn or take a free hayride to our pumpkin patch and pick from the field. Hayrides offered Sundays in October, 1-4pm. Also have squash, gourds (including dried birdhouses), ornamental corn, corn shocks, straw bales and mums. Apples, Amish jams and candy, along with crafts are sold in the shed, Monday-Friday, 5-7pm, and Saturday-Sunday, 9am-7pm. Open September through October. Green’s Pleasant Springs Orchard We grow 65 varieties of apples, tomatoes, specialty lettuces, sweet corn and pumpkins. We offer U-pick and pre-picked apples. We do not pre-bag apples. The customers pick out each apple they want. Fresh, unpasteurized cider is pressed each week in season. For 30 years, we have grown quality fruit and produce with food safety and the environment in mind. Jordandal Farm Jordandal Farm raises Scottish Highland beef cattle, Icelandic lamb and pastured pork, chicken and turkey along with 8 acres of produce. Poultry and pork are pasture-raised with a corn/soybean/organic mineral supplement. A beautiful 45-minute drive from Madison. JR’s Country Acres We are located in Lake Mills, midway between Milwaukee and Madison off the interstate. Narrow Gate Farms Narrow Gate Farms is a 45-acre, newly established, family-operated farmstead located in Campbellsport. We raise blueberries, which are sold pre-picked at the Campbellsport Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings, in season. Otter Creek Farm Enterprises We are a family-owned and -operated goat dairy and produce farm located midway between Darlington and Fayette off Hwy F in Lafayette County. We relocated from Pennsylvania in 2004 with plans to supplement the dairy with various farm products including aquaculture and raniculture in the future. Currently we have fresh produce. Snug Haven Snug Haven Farm is just that—a farm nestled in a snug valley in southwestern Dane County. Our specialty is spinach grown in hoophouses over the winter.
