Farm To Business

Our Farm to Business program works to promote and increase the use of
local, sustainable food and farm businesses, and build lasting, sustainable
relationships between producers, buyers, and consumers.
Wholesale Readiness Program
Inspired by the success of the Farm Fresh Atlas, and a need for a similar platform for high volume growers and buyers, REAP Food Group has launched a pilot Wholesale Ready Marketplace and Resource Training Guide.

On the virtual platform, vetted producers and buyers can seamlessly form partnerships that meet their unique needs. The result? Greater confidence in choosing local for large institutions, distributors, and aggregators and in turn, more dollars to sustain the rich Southern WI farmshed.

Local Vegetable Processing Feasibility Study
In 2021, REAP Food Group convened a project team around a planning and feasibility analysis for the creation of a commercial regional processing facility so we can grow the regional food value chain in the greater Madison (8-county) region in Wisconsin.

Funded through a USDA grant, the project aimed to 1) identify market demand for both minimally processed and other value added processing of vegetables, 2) lay out a business and sustainability plan for scaled up commercial vegetable processing, and 3) strengthen the network of institutions and producers in the value chain.
