Saturday, September 21: Community Celebration & Workshops
Family-friendly community celebration and educational workshops highlighting Wisconsin’s diverse Indigenous foodways. Join us for Yowela Farm tours, a scavenger hunt, corn braiding, wild rice processing, and more! Serving tacos with fresh pressed tortillas in late afternoon. $25 OR sliding scale for Adults, kids 12 & under are FREE.
Sunday, September 22: Farm Tours & Dinner
Enjoy an evening centered around themes of food sovereignty, education, and preserving and integrating Indigenous foodways. Participating chefs include Dan Cornelius of Yowela Farms, Yusuf Bin-Rella of TradeRoots Farms, Francesca Hong of Morris Ramen and the Dane County Food Collective, and Elena Terry of Wild Bearies. All proceeds go to the Native Food Network and REAP Food Group. Appetizers from Jonathan Correa of La Cosecha and Elijah Hipke.
